Vivi Lamarre jewelry artist and designer

BIO

Vivi Lamarre is a jewelry artist and designer based in Montreal. She completed studies in Visual Arts and Art History (University of Montreal) before dedicating herself to the creation of wooden jewelry and objects. Recipient of the Jean-Cartier Emergent Talent Award 2018 granted by the Quebec Craft Council, she also won in 2015 the Montreal Fashion Contest awarded by some of the most renowned figures in the Quebec fashion industry including Denis Gagnon and Jean-Claude Poitras.

Designer behind the Louve Montreal jewelry line for nearly 10 years, she now dedicates herself to the creation of pieces that are halfway between contemporary jewelry and wall art. Her work has been presented in group exhibitions in Canada and abroad, most notably with Noel Guyomarc'h Gallery as part of NYC Jewelry Week (2022) and Munich Jewellery Week (2023), at the New York Museum of Arts and Design as part of MAD About Jewelry (2022), at Tincal Lab Gallery in Porto, Portugal (2021) and at Serge-Ricci Gallery for the 30th anniversary exhibition of the Centre des métiers du cuir de Montréal (2020).
